Assuming no changes to coverage or geographical location, this means that in order for a driver to switch from carrier A to carrier B, company B has to sweeten the deal by hundreds of dollars a year. Anything less, and drivers (on average) do not switch.
The higher the dollar amount in the above claim, the worse the car insurance company. …and every car insurance company uses some variant of this claim in their ads!
